CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT RACIAL EQUITY REPORT
In February 2018, YAASPA released its first Concurrent Enrollment Racial Equity Report. The report focuses on Aurora and Denver Public School Districts.
Concurrent enrollment is college level courses for high school students. Pass with a C and you will earn college credit.
These courses are often FREE depending on the school or school district's partnership with higher education institutions.
Concurrent enrollment is an economic and racial justice issue. Concurrent enrollment increases access to higher education and cuts the time and cost of higher education significantly. Ask your counselor about concurrent enrollment and what class offerings are available.
If you need or want support advocating for more concurrent enrollment offerings at your school, let us know!
